
Adam
was the Cypress Police Department’s
tenth K-9. Adam’s true full name is
Adam Nikolkina Radost. He was born on
April 8, 1999, in the eastern European
country of Slovakia. He was
trained for over two years and earned several
awards. Adam was imported from Slovakia
in July 2001.
Adam
began his law enforcement career in July
of 2001 with Officer Matt Timney.
Officer Timney and Adam worked
together until September of 2002. Officer
Brian Eynon took possession of Adam
from Officer Timney in September 2002
after Officer Timney was reassigned to
another department position. Both Officer Eynon and
Adam attended and graduated from the Basic
K-9
Handlers’ Course at Adlerhorst
International Inc. in September 2002.
Officer Eynon and Adam began working
together as a K-9 Team in mid September
2002. 
Officer
Eynon and his partner, Adam completed
a variety of tasks
during their time together. They
assisted the SWAT Team, patrol officers,
and other law enforcement agencies with
numerous searches for dangerous
criminals. Officer Eynon and Adam also
completed several community
demonstrations displaying their unique
qualities and skills.

Sadly,
Adam was diagnosed with Addisons
Disease
in July 2005 and was
retired from the Cypress Police
Department. Officer Eynon and Adam
spent many years together fighting crime
and serving the community. Adam
officially retired from the department
and remained with his partner as a family
pet.
On September 14, 2005, Adam succumbed to the
devastating effects of
Addisons Disease. He peacefully
passed away at home in his sleep.
