Sergeant Eugene Komrosky

Sergeant Komrosky began his law enforcement career in June of 1973.  Throughout his tenure he worked as a patrol officer, field training officer, and special enforcement team investigator.  In 1978 he was voted Officer of the Year by his peers.  In August of 1981, Gene was promoted to the position of Police Sergeant.  As a sergeant, Gene supervised uniform personnel, the special enforcement team, internal affairs, communications, and helped establish the department’s first tactical team.  In addition, he served as Vice President for the Orange County Narcotics Officers Association and was the Cypress Police Officers Association’s President for twelve years.
